Hello friends! Irene here today with one more Valentine's Day card, featuring my favorite This Calls For Confetti products.
To begin with, I created the background using the Sweet Talk Layering Stencil. I only used the solid stencil to keep the background simpler. I lightly inked a white cardstock panel with Catherine Pooler Cotton Candy ink.
Next, I trimmed the panel to 4x5.25 inches and added it to A2-sized light pink cardstock. I set it aside to work on the next step.
I folded one sheet of pink tissue to a size small enough to accommodate the Sweet Talk solid heart die and die-cut the tissue paper. I also cut one heart from light pink cardstock. I folded each tissue paper die cut in half.
Next, I glued the pink cardstock heart to the card panel. I added a thin vertical line of glue to the heart's center and the tissue paper hearts, placing the folded tissue paper on each side of the glue line. I repeated this step until I added all the tissue paper die cuts.
At this point, I realized I should have stamped the sentiment before the hearts (lo!l). Oops!
Finally, I added the sentiment. I used the Happy Sentiments Stamp Set to add Happy Valentine's Day at the bottom of the card.
Thanks for reading along today! I hope this tutorial inspires you to create!
